Stirling Square Capital Partners manages two funds, a number of co-investment positions and a Special Opportunities investment portfolio on behalf of institutional, corporate and other investors based in Europe, the Middle East and North America. Our First Fund investment plus co-investment commitments totalled €342m in ten major acquisitions comprising seven portfolio companies and three bolt-on acquisitions over the period 2003-2007. Our Second Fund investment to date comprises five portfolio company acquisitions, one bolt-on acquisition and one portfolio company realisation in the period since 2008. Our Special Opportunities investment to date comprises one portfolio company aquisition.

In 2010 we achieved the final close of our Second Fund, a €375m 10 year fund raised from 20 investors across Europe, North America and the Middle East. Members of the investment team are significant investors in the Second Fund, representing €28m or 7% of the fund, an exceptional level of financial commitment. This commitment ensures a clear alignment of investment team interest alongside that of our institutional investors in the fund.

 

Our Special Opportunities investments are funded by co-investors and members of the investment team are also significant investors in these transactions.
