A Special Opportunities investment in Italy, Viscolube is Europe’s leading regenerator of used motor oil.

Viscolube operates two plants which process 130,000 tonnes of used motor oil per annum, regenerating a toxic waste product into base oil with a quality equal to that of virgin base oil.
Regeneration avoids the need to burn such waste and is therefore the environmentally preferable route for dealing with the wastes generated from automotive and industrial users of oil.

Stirling Square Capital Partners Special Opportunities made this investment alongside Mr Giorgio Carriero, who continues as President of the company.
